Ice Hoop X.1 is the first piece of the Gemrock Series. Hand crafted using raw earthy material. The base of the backboard is made from Quartz which has been cut and chiseled into shape. Epoxy resin then poured in between to combine the two slabs of stone with stainless steel “X” emblems embedded within. The patterns on the surface of the backboard have been sculpted with Volcanic Rock from British Columbia resembling the Icy Rocky mountains of Canada. The rim also covered in Volcanic Rock accompanied by a custom steel chain netting. Rocky elements from different parts of the Earth all combined together to form the first ever Ice hoop.
